Lowe's has named Michael A. Jones chief customer officer, replacing the soon-to-be-retired Gregory Bridgeford.

Effective April 30, Jones (who is currently chief merchandising officer) will transition into his new role, in which he'll be responsible for developing a customer-centric experience via design, merchandising, marketing and digital interfaces.

Houston -- Ace executives took the stage to deliver rousing speeches at the General Session of the Ace 2014 Spring Convention & Exhibits, congratulating retailers on a strong 2013 and outlining the co-op's vision for 2014 and beyond.

Ace even had a proprietary rock 'n' roll theme song dedicated to its strategic initiative, "20/20 Vision," which added a spirited component to a slide show presented at the session. "The view is worth the climb," crooned the singer.

San Francisco-based One Kings Lane, an online destination for the home, has appointed Arun Rajan as chief technology officer. In his new role, Rajan will lead end-to-end technology delivery, data infrastructure and site operations to support the growth and evolution of One Kings Lane. 

Rajan joins alongside chief product officer David Yu, who joined One Kings Lane in mid-2013.

Atchison, Kan.-based hardware distributor Blish-Mize Co. announced that Jonathan D. Mize has been appointed CEO, succeeding his father, John H. Mize. 

For the past few years, the younger Mize has served as president and COO and previously served in other officer capacities. He will be the fifth generation of the Mize family to hold the title of CEO. He also serves as president & COO of Hardware House, a subsidiary of Blish-Mize Co.

William Cho has been named president of LG Electronics USA, succeeding Wayne Park, who is moving on to a new role as global sales & marketing officer for LG Electronics.

In his new position, Cho will oversee all U.S. business units as well as the LG Electronics USA Home Entertainment business. Previously, this segment was under Jay Vandenbree, who is retiring at the end of this year.

Bonifacio's new role will involve the oversight and development of the company's international human resources programs.

The Natuzzi Group, an upholestered furniture manufacturer based in Italy, has named Simone Ferrari as its new chief marketing officer.

Ferrari joined the company in Oct. 2012 as VP communication. His promotion is part of a larger management restructuring initiative.

In his new role, Ferrari will take the lead in the development of an integrated marketing, communications and product development strategy. He will also lend support to expansion efforts in fast-growing economies, especially BRIC countries.

Tifton, Ga.-based pro dealer Short & Paulk Supply recently announced that Tifton branch manager Chuck Mailloux has been promoted to chief operations officer.

As COO, Mailloux's primary goal is to support company management in Albany, Dawson, Sylvester and Tifton. Mailloux will work alongside staff to identify best practices that can be implemented throughout company locations, including improving coordination of tasks and communication efforts.

Tara Poseley, the former president of Sears Holdings Corp's Kmart apparel division, has been tapped by Lululemon Athletica Inc as the company's new chief product officer.

In her new role, Poseley will lead the company's merchandising and design team. She will replace former CPO Sheree Waterson, who left in April. Following her departure, the company split the role into two jobs; Jennifer Battersby was recently hired to fill the other position of SVP sourcing.

As upstart home goods e-tailer Wayfair gears up for a likely IPO in 2014 or 2015, Michael Fleisher will step in as the company's new CFO to help speed the process along.

Fleisher, who is leaving his post as Warner Music Group vice chairman, replaces Nicholas Malone, who is remaining at the company as chief administration officer.

The International Housewares Association elected Keith Jaffee of 02 Cool as chairman.

O2 Cool designs, produces and markets “cool,” creative and fun battery operated misting and portable fans, water-cooling hydration products, outdoor accessories and novelty items. 

As an IHA officer, he will serve a one-year term from Oct. 1, 2013, to Sept. 30, 2014.

Andersen Corporation has named Salvatore Abbate chief sales and marketing officer.

Abbate will replace Craig Evanich in this role, in which he will oversee the development of sales and marketing strategies, as well as maintain responsibility for the company's Logistics and Order Management operations. Evanich retired in June.

Sears Canada CEO Calvin McDonald has resigned from his position for a new job opportunity. The move comes in the midst of a three-year restructuring initiative to strengthen the retailer's position in the region against new competition from Target and Wal-Mart.

Previous executive VP and COO Douglas C. Campbell, who is also a retired Marine Corps officer, took his place as CEO and president, as well as a member of the company's board of directors, effective Tues., Sept. 24.

Mendelsohn is VP and chief marketing and strategy officer at home improvement giant Masco.

City of Hope is a California-based treatment and research facility dedicated to finding cures and new treatments for cancer, diabetes and other life-threatening diseases.

Newell Rubbermaid has appointed Nate Young to the newly created role of VP global innovation, which will involve developing the company's innovation process.

Young will be leaving his role as president of the NewNorth Center for Design in Business, a nonprofit education and business institution. In his new role, he will work closely with the marketing and design/R&D departments to help drive innovation across the business and build a network of inventor, university and corporate innovation communities.

Barbara Kux has been appointed as a member of the Supervisory Board of Henkel AG & Co. KGaA.

A member of the management board of Siemens AG and its chief sustainability officer, Kux takes the place of Thierry Paternot who, for personal reasons, resigned his tenure at the beginning of the year. 

Kux will be nominated for by-election as a shareholder representative on the supervisory board at the next Annual General Meeting in April 2014.
