Previously, Bundy served in leadership positions for Gemini Coatings and Valspar. He has extensive experience managing sales team experts serving large wood product manufacturers, according to the company.

The Home Depot's top merchant had a lot more good news than bad news to share with investors regarding the retailer's first quarter performance.

"We are pleased with our performance in the first quarter with strength in our business across the breadth of the store," said Craig Menear, executive VP merchandising. The only departments with negative comp-store sales were indoor and outdoor garden -- the result of unusually cold weather in parts of the country, he said.

Haier has named Rian Cain senior VP of sales and marketing for Home Appliances and Home Comfort. Mr. Cain comes to Haier with over 30 years of experience in the appliances industry, including 22 years with Maytag Corp.

He will report to Ma Chunyu, COO of Haier America, and will lead all product marketing, sales and branding initiatives for Home Comfort and Home Appliance products.

Pinto brings 21 years of supply chain management expertise to Hyphen's real estate and software management team. He most recently served as the director of supply chain at Toll Bros. and has held similar positions at Standard Pacific and Pulte Homes. Pinto also heads the Supply Chain Benchmark Group, which is a coalition of the purchasing leaders of some of the largest home builders in the United States.

Back in May, the retailer’s leadership realignment created two groups -- a Customer Experience organization led by Gregory Bridgeford, and the Operations organization, led by Rick Damron. One position still missing is a chief merchant.

During Home Depot’s third-quarter conference call in November, executive VP merchandising Craig Menear identified several products that are selling briskly or are expected to perform well during the fourth quarter.
