Leeds, Ala.-based Marvin's Building Materials and Home Centers closed a five-year, $20 million revolving secured credit facility. The financing was provided by Wells Fargo Bank.

“Marvin’s was looking for a financial partner to provide stability and guidance in our banking matters,” said Gregg Denny, Marvin’s CFO. “The Wells Fargo team was very knowledgeable regarding the retail industry and offered Marvin’s an asset-based credit facility, which met our long-term strategic objectives.”

Leeds, Ala.-based Marvin's Building Materials and Home Centers is building a store in Eufaula, Ala. -- the 27th store for the home center chain, and the second new store in 2011.

The company opened its 26th store in Monroeville, Ala., earlier this year.

Construction will begin soon at the site on highway 431 in Eufaula, where the company hopes to open a 34,000-sq.-ft. store in early October, or sooner. The site is a former Walmart.

Leeds, Ala.-based Marvin's Building Materials and Home Centers will open a new store in Monroeville, Ala., this spring. The store will be the company's 27th home center and will be built on the site of a former Food World grocery store.

The new, 35,000-sq.-ft. store is expected to be open for business in late May. The location will include an attached lawn and garden center and drive-through lumberyard.
