Fortune Brands Home & Security, a unit of Fortune Brands, has appointed E. Lee Wyatt as senior VP and chief financial officer. He was most recently executive VP and chief financial officer at HanesBrands.

Prior to joining HanesBrands, Wyatt served as a VP of Sara Lee and as chief financial officer of Sara Lee Branded Apparel from 2005 to 2006. Before that he held a number of positions, include executive VP, chief financial officer and treasurer of Sonic Automotive and as VP administration and chief financial officer of Sealy Corp.
Klein also announced other executive appointments, which will lead the investor relations and corporate communications functions. Brian Lantz has joined the company as VP investor relations for Fortune Brands Home & Security, and Gary Ross has been named VP corporate communications.
Wyatt, Lantz and Ross join an executive team at Fortune Brands Home & Security, which will be anchored by veteran leaders who will join Home & Security from the parent company:

In other Fortune Brands news, the company is aiming to complete the separation of its businesses early in the fourth quarter. The separation remains subject to completion of detailed separation plans, customary regulatory approvals and final board approval.
