Benton Harbor, Mich.-based Whirlpool has named Katrina Helmkamp vp-refrigeration, giving her overall responsibility for the company’s global refrigeration products business.
Helmkamp formerly served as group president at ServiceMaster, overseeing the company’s $2.5 billion Terminix, TruGreen Lawn Care and TruGreen Land Care businesses. Previously, she was president of Terminix International.
Helmkamp holds a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering and management sciences from Northwestern University as well as a master's degree in business administration from the school's Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
