Sterling appoints Peter Holland as CEO of Texas subsidiary

Peter Holland has been appointed CEO of Texas Sterling.

Sterling Construction Company has appointed Peter Holland as CEO of its subsidiary, Texas Sterling Construction Co., effective Sept. 9.

Holland will be replacing Doug Clements, who left to pursue other interests in closer proximity to his family. He brings an extensive track record of revenue growth and market expansion in the construction industry and was most previously executive VP at Satterfield & Pontikes Construction, as well as president of their Federal Services Division.

“We welcome Pete and look forward to his reshaping and reinvigorating TSC, our largest subsidiary," said Sterling president and CEO Peter MacKenna. "He brings a great mix of leadership, inspiration and passion for our industry. I also want to thank Doug for his leadership of TSC during very challenging times and to wish him well in his future endeavors.”

Holland is a former United States Air Force captain and has been retired since 1992. He was also an associate professor of engineering at the Air Force Academy.
