Sears will be releasing its first holiday “Wish Book” catalog in 14 years, part of a previously announced initiative to make a nostalgic appeal to the retailer’s core customers.
The “Wish Book” is a full-line holiday catalog designed to promote Sears’ items with “gift ideas” for consumers. The 188-page catalog will feature a “Gifts for the Do-it-yourselfer” section, highlighting its Craftsman tools brand as well as other products found in its hardware and tools department.
Star of ABC’s “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” and Sears spokesman Ty Pennington will help unveil a large replica of the Wish Book at an event planned for Nov. 19 in New York’s Times Square.
Sears, Roebuck and Co., a division of Sears Holdings, operates approximately 2,400 full-line and specialty stores in the United States.
