Restoration Hardware closes original location

Restoration Hardware’s original location in Eureka, Calif., will be shutting its doors on Jan. 29, according to the Times-Standard newspaper.

The store, which was opened in 1980 by Eureka resident Stephen Gordon, has 10 employees.

Restoration Hardware features textiles, furniture, lighting and hardware -- all with a classic look. The company, which operates more than 100 locations in the United States and Canada, launched the Baby & Child children’s collection in the summer of 2008, and operates e-commerce sites restorationhardware.com and rhbabyandchild.com.
