PACOA reports increased attendance at show

Port Washington, N.Y.-based distributor PACOA reported a double-digit increase in attendance at its Annual Spring Dealer Market at the Queens College Fitzgerald Gymnasium.

PACOA’s marketing manager Maria Lukac said 500 attendees took part in the March 24 to 25 event, an 11.5% increase over the previous year’s attendance.

PACOA introduced several new vendors this year, which were highlighted in the “New Products Zone.” Among the new vendors were Stanley/National Hardware, Sperian, Lansky, Ettore, Amturf, Cleveland Tubing and Plews.

The initials in the distributor’s name date back to 1974, when The Paint Applicator Corporation of America (PACOA) was founded.  Self-described as the “The independent distributor serving the independent dealer,” PACOA serves dealers in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Pennsylvania with paint, hardware, lumber, janitorial and building supplies.
