National Building Components to expand

National Building Components, an Albertville, Ala.-based maker of roof and floor trusses, will open a second location in an Ozark industrial park, according to media reports. The company intends to deliver trusses and engineered wood products within a 100-mile radius, to southern Alabama and parts of Georgia and Florida, a spokesman told The Dothan Eagle.

The city of Ozark was selected because of its proximity to the southeastern region, according to the newspaper report.

“We plan to go after the residential, commercial and agricultural sectors and target building supply companies like Lowe’s, as well as your local mom and pop hardware stores,” said Darrell Bailey, general manager, in an interview.
