Myrtle Beach store offers owner second chance

The owner of the new Bill's Hometown Hardware in Myrtle Beach, S.C., says he's learned from the school of hard knocks, according to an article in SCnow.com.

Bill Clarke previously owned an Ace Hardware store in Myrtle Beach, but it closed earlier this year. High rent was one of the factors that forced him to close, he said in an interview.

The new store is connected to an East of Chicago restaurant building on 39th Avenue South and Highway 17.
