Thieves made off with $17,000 worth of merchandise, and caused about $1,000 worth of damage to St. Johns, Mich.-based Mike's Power Equipment Nov. 22, according to the Lansing State Journal .
According to the article, the thieves made off with six Redmax chain saws, seven Dol Mar chain saws, two Dol Mar leaf blowers and 15 Toro snowblowers. On top of that, they also took a 16-foot load trailer containing a Toro zero-turn mower, Toro Time Cutter Z, Quiet RV 3000-watt generator. All three items were customer property.
Owner Mike French said he returned to his store Monday morning to find the trailer missing and the doors damaged.
