Sue Roberts, owner of Ace Hardware of Grand Ledge, Mich., has recently been elected to the City Council, according to the Lansing State Journal.
Roberts, who is used to being the go-to person in town for wing nuts, bolts, washers and keys will now serve the town member’s needs for parade permits, zoning change or street repairs, the article said.
Roberts, who took office Nov. 22, ran unopposed to replace Sloan Banfield-Knight who decided not to seek re-election.
