Ace paints a picture of Q2 growth

Oak Brook, Ill.-based Ace Hardware Corp. didn’t let bad weather get in the way of increases in wholesale revenues or net income. And it didn’t squander an opportunity to add to the buzz of its new paint brand — Clark + Kensington.


Here is Ace CEO and president Ray Griffith’s comment on the co-op’s second-quarter earnings: “We are very pleased with our solid performance during the second quarter despite unfavorable weather conditions in April and May. In addition, we are excited about the introduction of our Clark + Kensington paint and primer, which will help drive increased sales and profitability for our retailers.”
