The Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla., served as the stage for the 2011 International Builders' Show. The Jan. 12-15 event is run by the National Association of Home Builders, which is predicting a 20% increase in residential construction this year.

While the physical size of the 2011 International Builders’ Show was scaled down significantly from past events, there was still no shortage of dramatic booth displays. Beach Sheet Metal Co. showed off its custom chimney caps and cupolas.

Otho the Painter is one of several Behr paint can sculptures placed throughout the Orange County Convention Center and the outdoor IBS Show Village.

At the ABC Supply booth, four-time Indianapolis 500 winner A.J. Foyt and ABC Racing driver Vitor Meira sign autographs.

The NextGen Home at the 2011 Builders' Show emphasizes four key themes: green, efficiency, safety and digital. The modular home in the parking lot of the convention center included new products from a long list of suppliers, including Craftsman, DuPont and Danze.
