According to an article in the Daily Herald of suburban Chicago, the site of what was once a The Great Indoors store in Schaumburg, Ill., has reopened as a Sears Outlet store.

Sears closed its Schaumburg The Great Indoors store as part of a plan announced in November 2009 to eliminate eight stores.

There are currently 12 The Great Indoors around the country, plus five Great Indoors Home Design Centers located inside Sears stores.
