(Oct. 27) Ingersoll Rand has appointed Todd Wyman as senior VP global operations and integrated supply chain, effective Nov. 16, 2009. He will be based in Davidson, N.C., and will report to Michael Lamach, president and chief operating officer.

Wyman will be recommended to the board of directors for election as an officer and will be a member of the company's Enterprise Leadership Team.

Wyman joined Ingersoll Rand from General Electric, where he was an elected officer and VP global supply chain for GE Transportation, responsible for global manufacturing, sourcing and distribution.

Ingersoll Rand manufactures locksets and HVAC systems under the Trane, Schlage and American Standard brands.
